True Greg is a Baltimore County native who breathes to write rhymes, create hot beats and perform. Although a teen rap artist, he began rapping at the age of 9. On December 25, 2014, his parents gifted him with his 1st music recording studio in their home. Since then, True Greg has been consistently working on his craft of writing, producing and performing. True Greg’s first album, “Let The Pen Talk” was independently released on his 13th Birthday (Oct. 2015), which fueled his love and passion even more for creating music. ? He loves old school rap, as well as some of the new school. True Greg’s lyrics are positive, lyrical and inspiring. For instance, songs like, “Message For My Hometown,” which is about the Baltimore Riots in 2015; “Bullying (Have to Pray),” which was inspired by bullying that he himself experienced in Middle School and “Fist Up” was created after seeing all of the unrest in the world along with the Black Lives Matter Movement. ? True Greg is an honor roll student who believes in striving for excellence in both the classroom and in the studio. However, when he’s not hard at work in the studio, he enjoys drawing anime, playing basketball and video games. As he grows and experiences more situations in life, his career opportunities will grow as a writer, producer and rap artist.
