5 1/2 years ago, I hit rock bottom. After suffering a brain injuring in September 2011, my life spiraled into an incredibly dark place. Not only did I leave school for the next 2 years, I was constantly shuffling in and out of hospitals and other medial facilities. After failing to positively respond to treatment, I vividly remember my pain therapy doctor telling me that my future looked “too bleak to speculate on.” It was during this time that I also developed a strong dependence on numerous prescription meds, Xanax included. Frankly, I never thought I’d return to a functioning lifestyle, let alone develop into a decent musician. But by the grace of God, I’ve slowly returned. Although I’ll probably never feel great again health-wise, I feel that I’ve recovered enough of my health to still accomplish great things. P.S. I wear the sunglasses because I've been extremely light sensitive since the injury ?
